As activists gather in New York for the Second Meeting of States Parties to the Treaty on the prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and in Dubai for the 28th UN Climate Change Conference, we will be connecting the movements against these two existential threats to humanity in a live call between the two conferences.
Join us from anywhere in the world as we livestream out this call from New York City to our colleagues in Dubai. Organizations on both ends will discuss how we can learn from each other and help build a stronger movement. Our speakers will explore the journey to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and the case for a Fossil Fuel Treaty. Activists and experts at both events will share information, speak on the proceedings and what is expected to come of the meetings, and discuss the vitally important connections between the two issues of abolishing fossil fuels and nuclear weapons.
