Mayor Nicole LaChappelle of Easthampton, Massachusetts, will issue an Executive Policy Order to align this city with the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, by divesting the city from the nuclear weapons industry and refusing contracts with companies that make nuclear weapons.

There will be speeches at Park Street MBTA Station at the corner of Boston Common, followed by a march to the State Capitol building. Organized by Boston Area Disarmament Activists and Students (members and volunteers from NuclearBan.US, Veterans for Peace, and the Brandeis Students’ No War on Iran Campaign).
