Legislative influence:
Despite being a Dutch company working on French nuclear missiles, Airbus is also very active in Washington, spending over $3 million in lobbying Members of Congress in 2023, according to OpenSecrets.org. Airbus maintains 42 lobbyists in Washington and among other issues, these lobbyists focus on the budget and appropriations bills for the Department of Defense.
